This is a very detailed video on how to build a deck around a pool. We start by digging the holes, building the frame, screwing down the decking, building stairs, a swing gate, and access door, lattice and frame, baluster railing and treating the new wood with my favorite CWF cedar tone color. The deck is built partially around the pool. We used treated lumber on the entire project. We used ACQ approved screws and nails.

My husband is by no means a carpenter but we watched your video 5 times. He then built our deck around our above ground pool. It came out great; I think my husband surprised himself that he could do such a project. Thank you so much for your great detailed video!

I have 30 years framing and building experience and I have to say that this is one of the best quality decks I have seen built. Very good job i do say. Only little thing i saw was it didn't look like enough space between pool and deck for a winter cover to attach. Other than that I was happy to watch your video. Great job sir.
