-Deadpool & Wolverine Won't Save The MCU-
:: The trailer for Deadpool 3, now named Deadpool & Wolverine, dropped earlier this week. It looks like a Deadpool movie, so it'll most likely be successful... But there's no way it'll pull the entire MCU back to former box office dominance.

Deadpool ain't meant to save the MCU anyway, it's just going to be another awesome Deadpool movie (hopefully)

"Most of the scenes were spoiled through online leaks last summer." So glad I missed that, the whole trailer was new to me.

It's not superhero fatigue, it's bad superhero movie fatigue. I was a dedicated MCU fan since Iron Man and went opening weekend to every movie up to Endgame. Since then it's been disappointment after disappointment. The only post-Endgame offerings I enjoyed was Shang Chi and Moon Knight, mostly due to having a decent kung-fu movie and Oscar Issac being amazing. Other than Guardians 3 I'd given up on the MCU. I'll see Deadpool & Wolverine but only once and only because of the 2 actors that I love being in it. Disney is too big a ship to move quick enough to fully save it.
  • deadpool 4 'Deadpool kills the universe and causes a reboot of all franchises' movie ends with deadpool saying 'you're welcome'

I just want Deadpool to not be ruined by Disney first. Then we can decide if he can save a whole cinematic universe.

Even if you don't want to consider Deadpool as a potential saviour for the MCU, he's the closest thing to one. He's like one of the only A-tier characters that the MCU has left. Iron Man? Dead. Captain America? Gone. Spider-Man? Sony has their fingers on him. Doctor Strange? Turned into a dumb@ss. Thor? Was made a clown. Moon Knight? I bet Season 2 isn't even greenlit yet. John Walker? Sidelined in the Thunderbolts. Daredevil? We don't even know if his show is good or not because they don't have the same writers from the Netflix Daredevil

Last year, the grifters tried to hype us up by leaking Avengers: Secret Wars. Apparently, after the MCU Avengers lose, the TVA rebel against Kang and rally a band of multiversal heroes (the Fox and Sony characters) to stop him. Tobey Maguire, Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds are the main stars. Obviously with Jonathan Majors being fired, the movies will be retooled like hell. The threat of Kang was essentially nipped in the bud with Loki now in charge of all the timelines. Despite this, Deadpool and Wolverine kind of confirms that the leaks were true. Even if the movie is amazing, it'll be on par with Spider-Man: No Way Home and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 in that it's a golden nugget amidst the horseshit.

Disney is so desperate, I wouldn't be surprised if this movie makes a billion dollars, shawn levy will be the director of Avengers 5

when you bring up nostalgia it makes me realize that in the next 10 to 20 years they'll have little to no nostalgia to work off of sometimes. and this will be after because of the last 10 years of slowly failing industry already.

I’m 22 years old so that means Wolverine was really slashing before ol’ son was born, crazy thought.

The only people that are saying this film will save the MCU are those that are suffering from “cope.” I expect Deadpool and Wolverine to receive the same criticism that GotG Vol. 3 got, one of the few film that is getting praise and not audible groans. Still, it’s funny that this is what we’re hearing now. The MCU is dead and they expect a third Deadpool film featuring Wolverine FINALLY rocking the yellow/blue costume to help revive it. They do know that after this film we're getting Falcon cosplaying as Capt. America and they expect people to have seen the D+ series before 2025.

I don't want it to "save the MCU". I just want a good movie.

"The trailer has 365 milion views" Okay but are those gonna be 365 million sold movie tickets?
  • @chilltunes8926
It’ll be the anomaly just like no way home then back to business as usual based on Disney’s conference call. I’ll enjoy the hell out of this movie nonetheless.
  • The only way the MCU can save itself is if it cancels the whole "Woke" media and stop writing characters to be overpowered.
