    This was so helpful! I am about to attempt a similar project myself. Did you replace the baseboards on the opposite side of the hallway as well so it would match? I am trying to decide if I am going to remove my baseboards or just let my vertical boards start right above them.

    This is a super straight forward and easy-to-understand guide. I've been trying to think of ways to make our split level feel more "cozy" and this looks to be one way that I can do and coincidentally have all the pieces for already. Just curious, why did you guys decide not to do both sides of the hallway? Was this meant to be more of an accent wall?
