PLAYING WITH MY 70'S ROCK ORGAN

Published 2020-06-28
This started out playing with a rock organ sound on my Korg Krome. It sounded very 70's to me so I just kept going with it. Although I'm more of an 80's guy I caught a huge portion of the 70's from about 1976-80. I'm not going to "front" I like a lot of those bands from the 70's that are not considered cool. Always have: Foghat, Styx, REO Speedwagon and plenty more that I can't think of now because I smoked pot till 1980. I can recall when Triumph was super cool. I saw April Wine and rocked hard. Two of my all time favorite songs were by Roadmaster. I still use 70's slang to this very day. If I say something is "kick ass" then I mean it. I still describe women as "foxy".

It's all MIDI sequenced blah, blah, blah. Tired of talking about the gear. It's only one keyboard. Synth guys get all orgasmic about stuff like that. I do too, to be honest. I wonder how sticky their keys are...but I digress. I'm not sure why I'm making this music and posting these videos. I don't have much stimulus going on because of the pandemic. Stuck at home. I have to wear a mask every time I go to the store. I still feel like I look like a robber. OH! I know why I'm doing this. Now that I mention it. I don't have any friends or a life. That's it. PHEW! Kind of a relief to say that out loud. At least it's nothing important.

So Nativist Boy tries to record music and fails. That's funny.
