Loved this game , lore and vid , well done! I liked how some of the quotes made it into the narrative, I still quote this game occasionally and even ran a TTRPG set after Defiance, were the party went out looking for the newly born scions of the pillars but took influence from all the games, even the Nosgoth battle arena ones. I can't remember a game so subtly steering you to 'there are two choices, but you know which one you will end up cannon.' The voice acting show Kain feels more and more used, and getting more and more fed up. And lastly: 'Poor Nuraptor, I knew him well... Well, not really' Anyways see you on Twitch - Grim

YES! I've always been curious about the LOK series, But I could never find a story explanation that didn't put me to slee, or was 5 hours per game. Woot!

As a huge LoK fan, you’ve summoned me forth by releasing this video. I have but one thing to say to you, TipToe. VAE VICTIS! I hope this means you’re scheming to cover the rest of the series following as well. Perhaps we’ll never see another entry in this masterful series after Defiance, but that doesn’t mean the series and it’s compelling characters have been forgotten. I also welcome any new fans who watch this video and interested in this series. You can find the whole LoK franchise on places like GoG or Steam (save for the original Blood Omen in the latter’s case) for dirt cheap. Yet the games, characters, and story are anything but. Perhaps with enough new fans, the series may make a comeback…and thus defy the tyrannous stars.

I've rewatched all the cutscenes for every single one of these games numerous times and now my favorite lore queen is doing a full blown breakdown of the series!! I can't wait, although I never owned these games before the voice acting and characters are some of the best even now.

This series is Shakespearean in its story and dialogue. A true gem. No wonder Amy Hennig credits the series has her favorite among all the games she has written.
