I really respect SKYND for not naming the song after him. His entire motivation was wanting attention and it feels like such a satisfying middle finger to talk about the case but not give him what he wanted.
  • this band has like 15 tracks but since every single song goes hard af, it feels like they release 2 albums a year, they've been in my headphones for 4 years without a single flop, how tf is that possible?

coming back after -th time of listening to this and i noticed that this is the first SKYND song where they dont use the perpetrator name at all. and its very symbolic to Luka Magnotta case since he wanted fame all along, so his name would be known in the world but even there SKYND made a great choice of cutting this down and putting a very popular quote as the header instead of Eric chosen name. good job!

The mondegreen between "Violets are blue" and "My lips are blue" referencing the suffocating is absolutely brilliant.
  • Can’t believe I’m in a SKYND music video… it’s such an honor and a dream come true!! 🥹 Thank you so much, I will remember this for the rest of my life. I love you so much, if you only knew 🖤 And the song is a masterpiece like they all are!!🤘🖤
  • like that her voice isn't altered so much on this one. she has a great voice

Jun Lin deserved so much more in life than to be associated with this horrible story. He was described as a reliable friend who was genuine and shy. He was from Wuhan and trying to make a new life in his early 30s in Canada studying computer science and engineering. He was a gay man who had not been treated with acceptance and so he was trying to find a more accepting community. He just wanted to have fun and just trusted someone who took advantage of that. The person who killed him didnt even see him as a person. But he absolutely was a full real person who had a life ahead of him he was robbed of and is missed.

I love the little touch of having those last few photos of him in the photobooth, looking to the side, alarmed, then standing up and rising out of the frame -- his vanity interrupted by a knock on the door that he thought he was too smart to ever have to hear.
  • @Blood_Puppet
I love the lack of his name for the song title to avoid giving his narcissistic self indulgence any personal attention.
  • This song is already in the top of my favorite SKYND songs, a great hit chorus, melodically. It turned out cool.
  • This was a particularly grusome case that I couldn't get out of my head. Posting his sick acts of sick cruelty to kittens onto the internet, then on to what would be his finale, Jun Lin. How ironic, that the evil killer would be caught by the help of people watching his movements on the internet, the very platform that he craved fame. Thank you Skynd for another masterpiece.

SKYND you’re just unreal. It’s not possible at this point that you never miss a shot, incredible tune, once again!
  • @lupari4939
The first artist ever, which never failed me and made me enjoy every single song! Thanks for your art.

I really like concept of video, with this photo-thing where he's dreaming of being surrounded by journalists, cool way to show those nature
  • @SanguineRiver
This is amazing. I love when Skynd takes little departures from their established sound. Gonna be playing this one on repeat for a while.
  • @Droodiis
Yeaaaah i'm inside the video at 00:15 thank you and good song !
  • It’s nice to know how she’s using more of her natural voice! I think it pacts more emotion and intensity to these songs.
  • @Crimsonams
Another stellar song by SKYND! Beyond thrilled we were given the chance to be in the video, as I think this is just as much a song about Luka Magnotta as it is a love letter to us, the fans. Great to see so many of us represented!
