Playing Destiny 1 but in 2024.. This game was a Masterpiece (Nostalgia)

Everything felt so good back in the day: exotic bounties, first time seing xur and not understanding WTF he was selling, the first raids, countless deaths on skolas, srl, the oryx ship, exotic Swords, secrets in daily missions like the soul of cropta, klaxons... What a great Era it was

Destiny 1 has a soul. You can feel it in the design and art direction. - Strike specific loot, customizable scopes. - Rare exotics - Horror Sci-fi was a better theme imo for destiny. - Actual progression and incentive to chase endgame loot. - Much better immersion with: the lighting / environmental sounds and no overdose of music everywhere you go / the armor designs / faction system / better detailed maps and replayable missions on the map. All small or big details add up to build the immersion. It felt like we were part of the game. - A game designed for gamers and not casuals. - At it's core the game was not design to waist players time like in d2. Some old gen consoles limitations but destiny 2 makes you run around doing nothing just to do something useless. - So many secrets, so many. Like the all the ghosts to find. I liked finding them all and in trials if an opponent had high grimoire you knew he was good. Love your videos ZK.

This game was LITERALLY the shit one of the best games/community of people I’ve experience in my life. I’m so glad to live when this game came out

Fun fact: D1 Sunbreaker Titan subclass was added with Taken King expansion. Probably the most feared super in PVP at launch.🤣

That D1 Hammer "ding" brought back some scary memories.

Some of best years of gaming for me personally, from d1 launch and all those years playing, meeting new people, everything was such a good feeling.

Armor (in general), tower exotics feeling rare, lighting, eververse (its less) and raid shaders in d1 > d2

ZK don’t forget when you did SRL you would get crucible ranking and advance your crucible ranking.

The simplicity of it all makes this so nostalgic. Unlocking perks on your armor and weapons most perks weren't even that crazy like adding zoom to golden gun was an exotic. I forgot how quickly you could get your super in PvP, and chaining supers with your teammates and farming orbs. I would love to be able to go back and relive this time period in my life. So many good memories

I recently came back to replay the campaign + DLCs. A couple of times a year the memories just hit me hard and I have to go back. Listen to the soundtrack, playing the old stuff, thinking back of the first raid, the first lighthouse visit or the great milestone that goes by the name of Taken King. Seeing you guys coming back as well and making videos about D1 shows me that we all share the same great memories we will most likely tell our grand-children about when we will be old 🥲

Destiny 1 OG was simply the greatest game ever created the community the grind the weapons the raids the friends and friendships that we formed will be incredibly hard to duplicate it was a masterpiece and it was majestic and magical at the same time. I loved that game.
