That's what I like about Remy: Owning his mistakes, showing both wins and fails. Plus, a very positive and nice person.
  • @In_dependent
next video title : The reason Why I prefer riding in a full face Helmet...
  • Thank you for sharing, for transparency, and helping any rider to become a better one.
  • @JJ510FTC
Man Remy, really glad you are ok. Thank you for making this video. You are a fantastic ambassador and mentor for this sport. I appreciate you and all of your videos because of your positivity and incredible abilities. Recover well brother.
  • @Deuteross
I think you could show the damaged helmet, how it saved your head from a serious injury. Thanks for the video, get well soon!
  • @nickv3085
It’s always complacency that gets us all, from noob to pro.
  • @sultanabran1
glad you're ok, rémy. thanks for showing us that even great riders can make mistakes and it's not just us.
  • @camwoo
Man I know exactly this feeling because it happened to me 8 weeks ago. Went down a rock roll and slipped on a root after, which made me smack into a small tree. All of my weight and momentum went into my ulna, which of course, broke it. Was two weeks before our Madeira trip so had to cancel. It's a part of the sport you have to accept happens sometimes! Thanks for showing this side of the sport and helping people ride more consciously, Remy!
  • I'm so relieved that you are ok Remi, It just shows what can happen in a split second to one of the best riders on the planet !!! You are so professional, so very talented, an awesome rider & a true gentleman, love your channel ! If I came back over to Canada I would love some coaching from yourself, I know this is not probably possible but it would be lovely !! 100% respect from me & as I said I'm so glad that you are ok & fully on the mend., I have been riding for many years & truly love my MTB & going back to Ski teaching next winter (Canadian qualified(Level 2 )
  • @robrider838
The tree has a new name “Remy tree”. Get well soon bud. All the best.
  • @RiddleDiddle
I'm really glad that you're doing well! And thanks for the close-up impressions. I have my own rule for wearing helmets: if there are proper jumps, drops or roots, then I wear a full-face helmet. I didn't follow this rule once and almost paid for it with my teeth.
  • Damn! That was a straight shot to that tree. Glad you are OK...A combination of very lucky and possibly your experience as a rider. Wish you a speedy recovery.
  • @someeagle
Sir, You are definitely Old school ; You have manned up to what went wrong, while expertly and calmly showing us what not to do, so that we could stay Safe, thank you! Godspeed.
  • @dadomat1979
Man! That was gnarly. Lucky you walked away from this. It's bad that you've crashed but it's educational to us normal riders! Keep shredding Rémy✌️
  • @timbershadow1
Bro as unhuman as you seem sometimes, being human happens to all of us. Sooo so glad you are ok and can walk away from this! You are an incredible rider and an inspiration to so many! This just proves that everyone should pre-ride, re-ride and free-ride. The trails there look absolutely amazing. And I'm sure soon enough you be back there again to give the trails a proper shred. To one of the best creators, thanks for keeping it real and here's to healing. 🤙🏽
  • @petedog9581
Gulley looks back to form after the broken leg. Thank goodness you are on your feet and back on the bike. This part of the sport sometimes, even when you know the trail.
  • @TheMadStrater
Well shared! so important for us mere mortals to see the behind the scenes preparation, risk calculation and, ultimately how even the best in the world can end up on the wrong side of it. Easy to forget this when I focus on the highlight reels! Remy is an incredible rider!
  • @BikingwithJP
Been waiting for this since the short 🤘 Glad you’re ok (enough) to ride another day!
