It was so nice to hear you open up about your mom, I am so sorry for your loss❤️ As a make up lover it can become easy to get caught up in the hype, we have to ask ourselves if we are really interested in these new releases or if we are caught up in the excitement of it all. I use to be sooo caught up in the hype years back. What has always helped me is that I only allow myself to fill my ikea 9 drawer! (plus everyday vanity of course) That way at least there’s no overflow! Also, rotating products is super helpful! You’ve been making such great process, I can’t wait to continue watching your journey unfold❤️

I am in the same boat as you are except now I have 30 days to move and packing all powder products like blushes etc., is totally overwhelming! I had three friends over yesterday helping me bubble wrap and box up makeup. I also have a huge cabinet of brand new skincare from Ipsy and Boxycharm that I have to sell. I was subscribed for over 7 years and have way more than I can use! I have two 9-drawer Alex units and one 5-drawer unit plus Sterilite plastic large drawer sets and 3 big acrylic organizers. I haven’t counted anything I’m just packing to put in storage I don’t even know where I’m going to live having a hard time finding a place. I started watching makeup collection videos over 7 years ago and had FOMO and wanted to be like the YouTube ladies I watched (my fantasy self) and never did start making videos as I am camera shy because of my age and teeth so self conscious. I’m so glad you are back making videos again I’ve missed you. I’ve wasted so much money on this stuff it’s insanity!! Now I’m left with a gigantic makeup, skincare and hair care collection not to mention all the makeup brushes I have to wash omg and I’m disabled and can’t stand that long at the sink and wash them. So I’m getting friends and my son to help me who all think I’m crazy and a hoarder. 😮😢❤

This was such a good video, I agree with you completely. I am sick of buying things for fear of missing out on something and then not using it because I forget I have it. I am not on a no buy/low buy, but I am on what I call a mindful buy. I am trying to use up as many products as possible before bringing something new in. And you weren’t rambling, quite the opposite. Very well articulated and impactful.
