I had a Shiba Inu when I was 10 in Japan - when we had to return to the States our neighbors took her in. When we returned to our house 2 years later she was there in the driveway doing somersaults - I don't know how she knew it was us. We brought her home to the States w/ us a year later and she will always be in my heart. If I could have a dog again it would be a Shiba Inu!!! Domo arigoto gomashita! You made my day. I bow to the Shiba Inu in our lives.
