Tropical Storm Alberto formed in the SW Gulf of Mexico this morning around 10 AM and should make landfall in eastern Mexico overnight. Alberto will bring waves of heavy rain to SE Texas through this evening along with gusty winds and coastal flooding. Some roads along the coast are impassable due to storm surge flooding. Wind should gradually subside and heaviest rain will push west Thursday as Alberto moves farther away and weakens over land. Thank you thank you thank you so much for the consistent updates!
  • while it is average for a tropical storm to develope around the 20th of June, it is not typical for it to develope in the Gulf
  • I called my family south of Texas and I live in Houston and there’s no rain 🌧️ people

Oh geez not another tropical development around Mexico this is our second one like wha😭😭?
  • It's a bit concerning that this low-level storm has managed to cover everything from Houston to south Yucatan bay in rain and it's not even an actual hurricane. I think we have a wild year ahead of us.
  • @Pearl-_Perla
Sending prayers to Texas!!! GOD'S DEVINE PROTECTION IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.AMEN.!!!

The way Alberto is traveling so slow it's giving me PTSD from Harvey
  • @alanCalhoun2
Looks Like A Second TS or Hurricane coming right behind Alberto? And a possible Third a couple days later?
  • At least the pirates in the southern Gulf of Mexico are not out during this weather. Unless they have skills in the waters that I am not aware of.
  • They were only off by 8-10 inches this time 😂😅😂 At least they weren't off by 50 inches like in the past ...
  • @Rocky79454
Earlier it was fun, BUT THERES A FREAKING TORNADO WATCH NOW😭😭
  • "Go to Settings to activate Windows." Looks like Windows is not activated on that machine. I assume it is a virtual machine (VM). Why activate when it fulfills its role for weather purposes! hehe. I wonder if it is Windows 7, 10, or 11.
  • Did the migrants along the southern border get safely bused to higher ground?
