  • I just moved into my first apartment, couldn't afford a coffee maker, so my mother in law gave me one of these drip o later pots and I had no clue on how to use it. Now I do ty so much for the video.

Great to see Revere Ware in use. I worked there back in the 80’s. I have a complete set of cookware still in the box.

Love these. They make great coffee. I just made 2 cups the other day. You have to fill it with water to the #4 mark for 2 full cups of coffee. Unless you like STRONG coffee, use level scoops, not rounded. I also think a medium-coarse grind works better. This model with the less holes does take a long time, but the wait is well worth it.

What a great piece to have to make coffee. I love my coffee! You're right vintage coffee cups are smaller, just six ounces I think. I drink my evening coffee out of my grandmothers mug. The charm makes up for the smaller capacity.

I have a bigger version of this I found in my previous home. I could never figure this thing out. Glad I didn't throw it away.

These make good coffee, my mom used one for years back in the 1960's. They are not quick though, compared to todays coffee makers. My mom was so picky about how her coffee was made. My dad made the worst coffee ever, and drank it black. The sludge gives your coffee body.

I have had one of these I picked up at a thrift years ago and never used. Just gave it a test drive against a Bodum French Press, Bialetti Moka, and a traditional Neapolitano flip pot. It definitely held it's own. Slightly stronger coffee than the Neopoliano and a cleaner brew than the French Press (my usual method). The Moka is a different animal so not really a fair comparison. Honestly I am surprised with the result, this sat in storage because I didn't expect much from it but it makes a fantastic cup of coffee. Needless to say today's experiment has left me a bit jumpy LOL. Easier to use and better coffee than a percolator yet a far less popular style of coffee maker even in it's day.

We still have one and have been thinking about breaking it out from the camping gear. Miss that flavor of really fresh brewed coffee ☕

I have a revere ware stove top coffee percolator It has the hopper basket with the tube running up the center! I cut a paper filter just just the same for the hopper grind my own breakfast blend beans and I swear it's the best coffee you ever tasted, with coffee mate & dab sugar! 😋
  • Awesome video, I was able to get a smaller camp version, but I was not 100% sure how to use it. Nice video.
  • I add Baileys Cream or Kahlua into my coffee and I use a real authentic electric Percolator! then I drink a couple of screwdrivers topped with Galliano liqueur all because of being quarantined

Great video Mr. Prime!! I love my coffee, I have 3 mugs every morning, one after I get out of bed…one while I’m making breakfast, and one after breakfast while I watch the news. I love the charm, of the 6oz cups, but it seems to be out weighed, by the convenience of the 8-10oz mug, lol… plus I find the larger volume seems to stay hot/warm longer, thus avoiding re-heats.

Great video! I just purchased one of these off of e-Bay and also 4 cup Revere Ware percolator. Thank you for your tips for shining them up to look like new. I will test them after I clean them up.
