SZA x Justin Bieber is the duo we didnt know we needed

One thing about SZA, she’s always going to be in a Barn, and I’m here for it. Queen of Hay 💯
  • @1bigstank
I think the robot is all the good characteristics she took from all the previous men rolled in to one. She couldnt find one so she made her "perfect" man.

Is crazy to have both Justin and Selena new boyfriends in this video 😍😍😍
  • One thing I love about SZA. Is she will give us a snippet to a unreleased song in a music video. Genius.
  • Love how Sza’s visuals always allow for deeper analysis. This song is about how much she adores being in love. The visuals depict her going through the motions with multiple men. The initial honeymoon periods and the ultimate downfall that you experience until you love yourself. For those confused about why she’s dancing for a robot, it symbolizes how she can’t be happy with any of the real men no matter who she rocks with. Instead, only a fictional or idealized character will ultimately be enough until she stops “snoozing” on her first love—herself.

Nasty habits take a hold when you not here, Ain’t a home when you not here. Hard to grow when you not here..I felt that and how she sang it ...HEAVY!

Whenever my anxiety attacks get bad I just listen to this song and I calm down

as a 2nd generation Asian American man, it’s incredible to feel and BE represented. Seeing Young play the role of a 'handsome', 'resilient' male figure was something I rarely got to experience in media growing up. Thank you SZA, thank you Young. This just made my week.

the video starts with SZA and her various lovers, different races and environments. a variety of men. she is happy with each lover and this appears to be the honeymoon, infatuation phase. the lyrics paired with these scenes include her describing how much of a rider she is. she’ll do whatever, steal, kill and lie. as long as he’ll be there, giving her attention (dreaming about her is her only request) the first time we hear the lyrics “i can’t loseeee, when i’m with youu” is when she is literally being used as a picnic table, with french fries and ketchup on her back. she is merely an object for this person she is exclaiming all her devotion. the lyrics continues, “how could i snooze and miss the moment, you just too important. nobody do body like you do.” these men aren’t shown doing anything extravagant for SZA. she is in underwhelming places with all of them. a bedroom, a gym, a barn. but she continues call them the most important. (keep this in mind for later) with the lyrics “in the drop top with you. i feel like scarface.” she is seen riding on top of the tractor (or whatever tf it is) with justin bieber’s character. now correct me if i’m mistaken, but this lawn equipment ain’t no convertible. she is boosting up these men basic ass antics because she is projecting importance onto them. she sees the world in them because she is in love (with the idea of being desired and wanted? hmm idk) it continues and we see her whispering in the ear of woody mcclain’s character, while he plays a video game on the side of a taxidermied animal. he would rather play a blurry, furry ass video game on the side of this animal, than listen to SZA croon in his ear. because SZA isn’t his time one, she isn’t a priority. she isn’t as important to him couldn’t be me. she starts arguing with her lovers simultaneously while the lyrics tell them how much she needs them cause nasty habits come back, the house doesn’t feel like a home and she doesn’t grow. she then starts stripping in the shower to remind her lover she’s “nonviolent”, as SZA realizes in the lyrics she is the only one trying, it then cuts to the gym where she dances a number in front of the robot. with the all men from diff backgrounds, she realized it all ended the same. she now seeks love, or attention, or desire from a robot. something that doesn’t have feelings or emotions unless programmed. it can be argued that she created it to love her, but it doesn’t show evidence of that. after this sequence, SZA is seen running towards a man in a field. this scene is expansive and shows endless greenery. the focus is now, not on the man, but on SZA. this could be her era of self love, the video ends on her frolicking naked through the dark, which we see with night vision. for me, this shows progression from using her body to keep the interest of her lovers to her feeling free without attachment
  • SZA dun took off HAM ON THIS RIGHT HERE! a u t h e n t I c v i e w s dun took SZA career off 2 the next level fr fr no cap
  • It's soo wholesome that I checked the discription for the lyrics but found her giving credits to everyone involved
  • @AwesomenessTV
There's a lot I love about this video, but eating ketchup out of Sza's back arch gotta be like top 5
  • @GreenGeeky
I love how she was reserved when it came to Justin. She was all over the other men but kept it respectful with him because he’s married in real life. Idk why but that stood out to me and I love her
  • @crownravis
NOBODY DOPE THAN SZA... We love you 🇿🇦
  • Love the song! Thank you SZA. Showing a Asian man as a Handsome and sexy. Showing a Black woman being desired by all Men from different races. Not to mention Justin Bieber. Love you ❤️ ❤❤
  • @LateNightVibesYT
The song, the visuals, the snippet in the end, SZA did her thing again 😭 Glad to see Snooze get the recognition it deserves because it's one of her best songs ❤
  • @kennishayoung9342
I love love the fact she used different men of different backgrounds, this just shows another side of her versatility! I'm here for more sza! Keep on with the visuals. Keep serving body and keep keeping us obsessed!
