The jump back after he was surprised he misses his punch was so accurate you really know all the cliches. This is great

Light speed in anime means long enough to fit 5 paragraphs of dialogue, an entire episode dedicated to the villain's backstory, another episode dedicated to the villain's masters's backstory, the flash back to the present where half the episode is the protagonist internally monologuing.

Fun fact: the first attack took him around 21 seconds to reach his opponent. If he was moving lightspeed he would have moved almost 4 million miles away from earth. Way past the moon

Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact that Caleb sped up the attacks for us to watch?

"As if I would stand here and let you hit me" -literally the smartest bad guy in history

“Is this filler?! What am I watching?! Come on?!” This man really knows how to channel the frustration and confusion of the masses lol

The "I could care less"/"I couldn't care less" bit is a very fair point though. I mean, sure, they should be fighting, but if they're not at least they're educating people.

1:51 I’m with bro on this. People saying “I ‘could’ care less” has always been a pet peeve of mine lol

1:12 I swear the random noises caleb makes when he’s hit never fails to send me 🤣

I love how Caleb's skits are simultaneously high quality and low budget.
  • "Is this filler?" Is the most realistic line i have ever experienced when watching anime
  • I loved the part where he thinks "Oh no, I won't be able to dodge this one." I see stuff like that all the time in anime, and my reaction is always "Uh, yeah if you have enough time to think about it, then you obviously have enough time to move."

Remember kids, in fiction talking is a free action. It really do be like that though. Still love that Caleb just plays every character.
  • I love it when characters can discuss what they want for dinner today while taking a whole episode to land their attack on the opponent- and when their attack doesn’t land, that’s when you know the episode is filler.

Caleb, the manga goes into great depth about how everyone above the power level of 15,000 communicate beyond light speed, so the scene makes perfect sense.

The most replayed timestamp in the video didn’t surprise me at all 😂 his pain noises are immaculate
  • The monologues between attacks is literally just the animation studio saying we're not spending any more time or money on another punch or kick. These characters are going to use their words for the next 6 episodes.
  • 0:43 This is what I think every time whenever anybody in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure does a light speed barrage while speaking a bunch of words couple of times and the victim still somehow survive, like bro, HOW MANY times were you hit? And also how fast DIO speaks in general, like he had an entire monolouge during the 20-meter radius emerald splash while the emeralds were just like 2 inches away from him when he just started speaking.
