NMV (AISI O2 1.2842) - a type of low-alloy cold working tool steel with better complex mechanical properties than carbon tool steel and has higher hardness and wear resistance. Since AISI O2 steel contains a certain amount of vanadium 0.15%, the grain size is refined, and the steel's sensitivity to overheating is reduced. At the same time, the carbides are fine and evenly distributed. I have this knife in the stonewash, very good knife, feels solid in the hand. I have the larger expendable too, solid knives the only thing is the kydex sheath on the expendable doesn't hold the knife as good as the ultra outdoor.

Just got a watchman 222 after seeing your review on their other model. I absolutely love the design its like a rat3 only made in a better EDC steel 14c28n. It's the perfect size for my uses. An to clean a fish or bait. It looks like it might replace my mini pendleton hunter which is a great bird an trout knife. Heard lots of good stufc about Za-pas. But it was a puukko they make. I really love puukko design. Lastly that was a very professional looking fire you put together. Really see the skills improvement since your first videos.
