I feel the same way about weddings. I just want to get married in a court house and have a meal prepared by a private chef at my home with my close friends and family.
  • My daughter got married at the courthouse. It was such a happy day for her. You're doing the right thing for you and you won't regret it.

Thanks for the update!~ It's great that you two know the real value in getting married is connecting to the person not a ceremony of high costs✨✨. My hubby & I did a courthouse marriage, and we were not on a budget, we simply didn't want a wedding. We strategically eliminated that debt along with other debts in the beginning of our marriage. Now, many years later we are joyously married with financial freedoms we attribute to good decisions from the beginning. We are grateful to God we are able to live debt free, stress free and we can travel/do all the things we desire without financial struggles. It's so freeing spiritually to live this way which has lead to a lot of love and laughter between us🙌🙌. I hope you and Taylor get to experience this feeling within your marriage.💖💖

Tiff I am very happy for you guys, I enjoy you two, and I must say, so happy, that you two are not doing pranks, I followed another couple and the pranks ended their relationship and a marriage, I say you two do what ever is on your heart, I miss you both being together, I want to meet Taylor family and your brothers, yes take us along your journey, even if you have to drag Taylor, he is so funny...look forward to see where the future take this channel.

I'm here for you, whatever you post. I love you. It's always great to see you. That's a good point about retail jobs. Folks insist on being like "Get a job! Get a job! Get a job!" Then the person finally gets one, and folks are like "You work THERE?!" Like the person is doing nothing to better his life, or anything. As if that job is beneath everyone on the planet. I'm like "Do you want the person to work or not?" Cause, a job is a job. And, all jobs are bettering the person. Good point about retail jobs. I understand on the grandma part. My mom and I were once at my grandma's house for hours, helping to clean up, plus it was nice to visit. Me and my grandma discussed our family history, the fact that colder weather was coming (it was October at the time, and we're in Ohio - grandma was originally from Alabama), and there were other topics. Ten minutes after my mom and I leave, my grandma died. We discovered, cause when we got home, my mom called over there to tell my grandma one more thing, and my granddad told her to call 911. So we rushed back over there, in time to see the EMTs taking her through the living room and the front yard to the ambulance. Little did we know, she was already gone. (But deep down, I could tell just by looking at her). It was a heart attack, and she went instantly. My granddad told us he wished we were there, I guess because he might have been thinking we could have possibly saved her, but there was actually nothing anyone could have done. I'm glad we weren't there at said moment, cause I wouldn't have wanted to watch my grandma die. My aunt's pastor told me that I will always remember that time I spent with my grandma, and I still do remember, to this day. So, I understand.
