Good looking car even by today’s standards

It's hard to believe that the LH cars are 30 years old as of this posting. They were such a huge leap for Chrysler at the time (and some of the last true Chryslers, not being Mercedes or Fiat chassis) and look better than most cars on the road today. I miss decent looking cars.

Dare I say the eagle vision looks gorgeous still to this day
  • These cars were fantastic and well ahead of their time. I had a Chrysler LHS and I still love the styling.

We had one. Had 250k on the 3.5 when we sold it. It was a big, quick comfortable car that handled well. Only issues were suspension bushings.
  • I haven't seen any Visions in a long time. I would buy one of these today if I ever cane across one. And dare I say it looks better than alot of newer cars?

This would have been a great companion vehicle to my 1998 Cherokee. Always liked the looks of the LH cars. But the Eagle was certainly the best looking. Too bad they don’t seem to exist today

This was my first car in 1996, green with the grey trim. I loved it. I crashed out a few years later but our first cars are always filled with amazing memories.

The Intrepid/LHS, Chrysler Cirrus LXI were sharp cars IMO back then..I remember..too bad they didn't last long. Almost never see any today.
  • I had a '95 model in my early 20's. Still one of my favourite cars I've owned

the front end looks like an early 90s Honda Prelude
  • @bandwagon240
Can't remember when the last time was when I saw one of these on the road.

The exterior styling still looks good in 2023. The interior plastic is harsh looking.

Why is that man slapping the stick so hard

I had a 2001 Chrysler Intrepid. Loved it. Big, comfortable and handled like a compact. Yes it was a Chrysler, not a Dodge because it was a Canadian version that was brought to the US.

I was in one of these back in the day, and noticed that the ride was very smooth, and the interior and instrumentation well thought out... However, the owner rarely ever used it in the "slapshift" mode, and only once to show me how it worked while I was in it... He said that the whole thing had gotten old fast, and how he would've been better off saving a little money and choosing the regular Chrysler branded fully loaded LHS of that model year...
  • I love the styling of the first gen LH cars. They were so modern for the time and still look modern today. The styling had so much sportiness and contemporary.

When I was a young salesman for Hall automotive in Virginia,I could sell across multiple new car lines .I had some customers drive this Vision ,and looked at 96 Nissan Maximas a few times. The Vision was a bit bigger obviously, but handled and drove as good or better than a Maxima SE Automatic for over $1500 less cash. Some actually chose this over the Maxima, which was import car of the year in the mid 90s! Chrysler had a good design and engineering team then ,to say the least! It still looks great too imo.
