We need to give a lot of credit for these people of the desert. They're constantly facing daily challenges of survival. All respect.

Listen to the nomad: water is not something you can sell. 16:52 Where water could be the main business, how generous and peaceful those people are.❤

Watching this can changes one perspective of life. Those people wake up everyday with a purpose. I learned a lot just watching this documentary. People don’t understand how much easier we have it state side as far as living conditions.

Really puts into perspective how grateful we should be, and how fortunate we are to even have water on tap, that we take for granted.
  • I live in the northern plains of India, the Shivaliks or foothills of Great Himalayas, rich in vegetations, rains and meadows. Seeing through the documentary about life in Great Sahara my heart is full of gratitude for the perseverance, fortitude and agility of Saharan people and their love for life.........

I have seen so many documentary about different cultures, different places, in this quarantine and I realized how blessed we are to have water, greenery, and freedom. People are praying for water to drink, freedom to walk 🥺Oh My God.... Don't take everything on granted 🙏🏼..From Nepal 🇳🇵🇳🇵

I really admire these nomadic people. All Arab tribes used to live like this once upon a time. I hope one day humans can manage to create a forest in the Sahara desert.

The fight for water will be the Third World War, even Kofi Annan said that. All I know is that I miss living in Mauritania. Hard environment but amazing people. 100% Muslim, but they still accepted me as a peace corps volunteer. And they live represent Islam so well. If someone came to my host family, they could stay as long as they wanted. Water was the first thing offered, then a shower, food , and tea. No one stole anything. I left my wallet w passport, $$$ and identity in a taxi twice in the capital and it got returned. Even if someone was poor, they still gave to someone that was homeless or stricken by polio. That is the Islam I have experienced and Mauritanians showed me the good part. Mashallah, I miss you Mauritanians.

This reminds me that there are always bigger problems on this earth.. Alhamdulillah we are so blessed to have plenty of water, fruits, vegetables, grain and pretty much everything..mad respect to these people.. ❤️
  • A really hard life endured by the nomadic peoples of the north Africa. The Sahara may have been a paradise many thousands of years ago, but, not in our times. Knowledge of the desert helps the people and what knowledge these nomads have. Thank you CGTN Africa.
