Walraven van Hall was a real man. He was a banker and financed the Dutch resistance. There's even a movie about him.
  • I have never played long enough to see the 200 Japanese division guarding every single square centimeter of Japan and the 150 allied divisions on one signle island

The Netherlands is definitely my favorite Dutch country in Hoi4

ISP casually forcing Japan and the Dutch to be best friends again. Hilariously irl when during the Napoleonic wars when Japan was an isolationist samurai island when the Dutch lost their country to Napoleon and got exiled to their colonies Japan had to go to the dutch (btw they're literally the only people trading with them before the Americans showed up) to ask them what is happening in Europe.

Imagine being addicted to Achievment Hunting in Hoi4 (I can relate)

Ah yes, the famous Dutch word of slams head on keyboard

Appropriate that this video drops on the same day as Netherlands advancing to the EuroCup semi-finals.

I can confirm we DONT wear wooden shoes anymore and we DO use bicycles and cheese
  • The genuine confusion at 15:28 when he saw the AI stack 108 divisions on one island sharing but a Costco sample among them in terms of supply

When you lose nearly 300 thousand men three times in Japan so you do a cheeky bit of trolling at the capital for payback (they'll never see this one coming)

I think why people considered so hard back in the day because we had Uber Germany AI who just steamrolled Soviets usually in early 1941. Allies could never win unless player carried them. Naturally every beat Germany achievement was a nightmare back then.
