CODE 3 CALL!!! FIRE ON THE INTERSTATE!!!

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching!!! Today, Oscar and I are called to run Code 3 to a fire on the interstate. We were told there was a dually pickup truck and a loaded gooseneck trailer that were "fully involved" and they had to interstate shut down for fire operations. We were requested to run Code so the interstate could be reopened to full traffic as soon as possible. I know this seems odd to a lot of people. We do not get to choose when we run Code. We are only allowed to do so when requested to "expedite" and we are not always given a reason. Basically, if we are told to run Code, we don't ask questions, we run Code. Anyway, this job seems fairly straight forward, until, like always, there is a complication or a problem that we must solve. The gooseneck trailer is loaded and needs to be disconnected from the burnt dually, but the tailgate on the truck is locked and won't open. So, the simple task of cranking down the jack legs on the trailer and pulling the burnt truck out from under it won't work. How do we make this work? Also, you will catch a snippet of this video that I took for a recent fundraiser we had for a local firefighter. Thank you, God, for blessing our family and our business. This is one of the reasons I dislike electrical doodads put on vehicles for the sake of having electrical doodads. I love how the sheriff is a help-out kind of guy with getting the trailer clear.

For those asking why not the rotator, he didnt know he would have to lift the trailer, and this smaller truck would make pulling the trailer easier once the truck and trailer were separated.
