鉄道になんの興味もなかった二十歳の頃、意図せず、東海道本線を名古屋から東京まで乗ったことを思い出しました。 乗ったのは夜間、深夜でしたが、どの駅にも人がいて働いていて、日本のどこに行っても誰かが生活を支えてるんだなぁと、妙に感動しました。鉄道に興味が湧いたわけではないけど間違いなく旅は好きになりました。もう二度と乗る事はできないだろうなって思っていたけど、こうやって動画で追体験のようなことができたり、思い出が蘇ったり、いい時代になったなあと思います。

学生時代、18きっぷで移動したのを思い出しました。 全区間でまだカボチャ色の113系が健在だった時代。東京から豊橋まではひたすら113系を乗り継ぎ、 豊橋～大垣～米原は117系、米原以西は221系でした。当時は221系がひたすら輝いてみえました。

東海道本線は東京-神戸と路線が長いので沿線の魅力がたくさんありますね（僕は草津−神戸しか乗ったことがありませんが現在全線走破を目指しています）歴史を感じることもできます 琵琶湖も新快速の速さも本当に魅力的な路線だと思います

汐留駅跡地の再開発で地中を掘った際、沼津駅の土瓶が大量に出土したそうです。 それだけ機関車増結中にものが売れていたのでしょう。

2:30 逆に言うと、いまだに東海道本線全線走破する列車が残ってること自体がミラクルに近いんよなあ。サンライズ号はいつまでも残ってほしい。

岡崎市は昭和時代は康生町が、平成は東岡崎～戸崎（イオンがある辺り）が中心街として栄え、令和以降はJR岡崎駅周辺が開発され中心になっていくと思います。大型商業施設、住宅街が急速にでき、総合病院、警察署、消防署もJR岡崎駅近くに移転する予定です。
