I've been metal detecting for 11 years and haven't found anything worth a damn. Cleaned a bunch trash out of the earth though. I guess that's good enough.

Man talk about being in the right place at the right time. What a draw of luck. I bet he still is and was on cloud 9. I sure would be. I’ve watched Jimmy almost from my beginning of this wonderful hobby we are in. Just goes to show that we just never know what’s laying right underneath our feet. Awesome story. You are the only person besides myself that I have ever heard of whose mother died on their birthday. My condolences brother. My mother passed Oct. 08 2012. It was my 35th. It made celebrating difficult for awhile. Now I celebrate Her life and the life she gave Me.
