Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the

In 1974 at a youth club dance i met a 16yo girl, asked her to dance to "Stairway to Heaven" I was 17yo. We celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary this year. The lyrics hang on our lounge room wall still today. LOVE IT.
  • I was in this concert in 1975. I had arrived in London in 1972 to study business. It was an incredible concert from which I clearly remember three things: Jimmy Page's magnificent solo guitar in Starway to Heaven, Robert Plant singing bare chest at maximum potency, and the strong weed smell throughout the concert. I was 24 at that time and what a wonderful experience this was: It will live on my mind forever.

  • Hello everybody, I'm 72 and I think they are the best rock band in the world forever 🥰🥰🥰
  • This band was a gift… the combination of skill, passion, intuition, discipline, coolness is something that we won’t see again in our lifetime.

A man with a story to tell. Music played by actual people, no computers no AI. And you can tell. Its hits you in the hart. Music from the 60's 70's and 80's. Creativeness at its finest.

This song is so unique. I just wanna say that it just doesn't belongs only to the 70's when it was created, but also to all era, even nowadays, it still belongs. It's timeless, precisely. You can be 20 today, or in your 30's, or 40's, or late 50's early 70's, I bet this song still feel the same as it was back then. I can't describe it for any of you, but everytime i listen to it, i feel as if the world around me just stop in silence, and everything is ignored, which is fine, for this song is being born, raise and lives in you. Everytime i play it, it was a new breath of life, and I will find something new from it. You will learn something from it, and it's only made by 4 people whose in their early 20's. It's not perfect, but nothing is, and it's a beauty that stays forever, when the others just gone...
  • This is one of the greatest song of all time. A timeless masterpiece. That rock part is just pure art

This was one of my great grandma’s favorite songs. She passed away very recently at age 78. She and Jimmy Page share the exact same birthday.  Every time I see Led Zeppelin perform this song live I get chills and tear up a bit.  It makes me sad because it reminds me that Gram has passed, but it also makes me have happy tears because it reminds me of all the great memories and inside jokes me and her had. I love and miss you Gram, and thank you Led Zeppelin for this timeless Masterpiece. My best wishes to Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul Jones, and we miss you Bonzo 💕

  • When I listen to Led Zeppelin, it automatically takes me back to a time in my life when the world was at my feet so many dreams. Now I'm 70 and enjoy their music more than ever! The chemistry between the four members of Led Zeppelin is undeniable!!!

I was introduced to Led Zeppelin back in 1975 by my brother. What an experience. I don’t think they knew that they were leading the charge. I’m happy to be a part of it.
