Stories of a lost treasure in a remote canyon led me to backpacking for 3 days in hopes of finding it.

After hiking many miles and uncovering traces of ancient history on the way, I found something incredible at the very end. I left this place convinced there is far more to be discovered here.

As always, please leave a place better than you found it. Thanks for watching, and make sure to subscribe to The_POV_Channel for lots more like this.

Nothing like having a loyal dog that will do anything and go anywhere with you. I just lost mine, Pearl, she was a 14 year old lab. Great videos bud, job well done.

I can no longer hike, so I am rediscovering my love of nature through channels like yours. Please, keep up the hard work; we armchair enthusiasts need you!

This is hands down the most beautiful canyon I've ever seen. Thank you for allowing me to witness this amazing part of our country.

The doggie was like, " No dad! Don't go into the big, dark, wet hole of death!" We don't deserve dogs. Absolutely amazing find!

Thank you, allowing me to live vicariously through your eyes. Many years ago I was a wilderness backpacker. We once did a canyon in AZ very similar to this, through the water for a couple of days. Wonderful memories. The only thing that concerns me about you, and the others with similar channels, is each of you doing these hikes solo. I was a Girl Scout for 10 years so it was ingrained in me to always have a buddy with you. You just never know what unforeseen circumstance could lead to tragedy if you are alone, and sadly you might not survive. That being said, I am disabled and very sick and mostly homebound now, and being able to “go along with you”, and see places such as this, that are as beautiful as anything I have ever seen, takes me away from my reality, and lets me feel free and adventurous. Thank you again, and I pray that you and your beautiful dog are always safe, and at the end of the day, always return home, until your next adventure. BTW- you already found the treasure…

Always great photography and I really appreciate the lack of unnecessary talking. The scenery speaks for itself. Thank you.

Love your pooch. He’s not happy when you are out of sight. What a great dog 🥰. Hope he was greatly rewarded once home.
  • Your dog is awesome!!! What an absolute sweet angel. Love your videos. I really enjoy them. Thank you

Has to be one of the hardest hikes I’ve seen on YT and with your pup. Stay safe brother!
  • What a beautiful film and a heart warming companionship of a good dog.
  • As always this ole man appreciates seeing your video adventures. Heart sinks a little when your faithful buddy whines to join you at the one pool. Again thanks for your great words and videos.
  • I know that you were gonna say that the area is the treasure and your absolutely correct!!❤❤❤

Very well done Nolan!by letting us viewers travel silently with you in the first sections of the hike, you provided us a very tactile and personal experience. The lack of narration at the start was the ideal way to present the wondrous landscape..allowing the birds and the song of water to be all that was needed to be heard. That really made it more of a mystical journey. Deep Gratitude for your True Spirit.. expressed!

Insane trip. Beautiful location I could only ever dream of visiting. What it must be like to experience such peace and quiet and solitude.

Thank you very much for this well balanced video, as in non greed related. The clickbait is a good one, and covers what you are teaching us all about. Instead of Gold, Money and other perishable material, you've shown us the absolute beauty of the natural landscape !
