  • I 'am French , living in Germany, I have all of these habits from home, I drink only water and my friends here lought about me, but I am thiner than all of them, I don't have any gray hairs, I'am 60, and I don't need any remedy. So I warmly recommend this kind of living. I was very glad to see your video😍

I am French and 73. An important point is that from their childhood people drink especially water and parents don't allow snacks !!!

Cooking your own food makes a huge difference knowing what goes in it is so important!

no processed food and eat fresh food, drink lots lots of water, no distraction while eating, physical activity included in daily routine, eat smaller portions, listen to your body by eating when theyre only hungry not for boredom and eat to nourish only
  • 3-4 french men I met here in Scotland aged 27-45 years old are all slim and toned, they exercise a lot. One of them is a personal trainer and looks like a model.

I am French native. Came to USA at age 34...cooked all my life healthy food. In France the food is not highly processed like in the US. I trained, competed my whole life in fitness, balancing workouts, daily activities (outdoors), work, etc, in a healthy way...until menopause hit me hard, then cancer...i gained a lot of weight that I'm fighting to lose as I was never fat. But i have to accept the fact I am a survivor, and i can get back to my healthy routine...i do cook still, but having a hard time working out due to cancer treatment. But i recommend to all ladies (and gents) who love to cook to do it daily, meal prepping are the key ingredient to success. I usually know what I'm going to cook for the week (I always pick at least 2-3 dishes) that can last me a week. All fresh, all made from scratch. No junk, no soda, not too much sweet (i do have a sweet tooth! sadly!)..but it's all about moderation, being active, enjoying life..screw fad diets, they never work anyway! ;) Bisous! ♥

We're screwed in the US, we are doing all the opposite what french people do. Our cities are designed for cars, not for walking, most food we eat is already contaminated with dyes, sugars, preservatives and who know what else the food industry adds to our food. We live in stress, always rushing doing stuff. A lot of people eat without being hungry, others eat out of boredom and many others eat to deal with depression, low self esteem. Being slim not only apply to French people, but it general Europeans with the exception to the British, they are getting chunkier

Wow! I’m French and I could not agree... less. Some French women are thin, others are not. Junk food is now an entire part of our culture now, a lot of people don’t exercice and healthy food is soooo expensive in here that many People don’t ever bother. One thing though: I do eat in a small plate but people in Scandinavia do too...
  • navigating weight loss struggles, stumbled upon the French women's diet secrets. The emphasis on natural foods, mindful eating, and smaller portions resonated with my journey. Aspect Health has been part of my exploration too, seeking holistic approaches. Incorporating these habits feels like a mindful shift. However, cautious about supplement recommendations, it's vital to consult professionals. Thanks for shedding light on these lifestyle choices, always prioritizing informed decisions for a healthier relationship with food and body.

Eating on smaller plates, consuming smaller portions. Great takeaway for me
  • I worked in a French family, well Swiss French…they eat 3x a day always at the same time, dont munch in between meals, they drink water or mineral sparkling…but not all is healthy..for breakfast marmelade, cereals…not healthy. But they just dont eat between meals

As a french woman I was curious about the secrets we selfishly keep 😄 The list is right also I started a new diet and the doctor emphasized on the small portion and the fresh food. (and no sugar at least not in the form of process food)
  • @timberhawk-
I have already been doing these things and I can confirm it works. I lost 23 pounds (130lbs to 107) and I feel so good! and I have started to get many compliments <3 merci d'avoir fait cette vidéo hehe

I am part French but your right. I remember when I was really thin I did drink a lot of water for a long time I never gained weight. Everyone thought I was to thin. But now I weigh to much because I got bad habits from my kids who got bad habits from others but we are back to drinking water except I have not lost weight due also to menopause.
  • I have issues with drinking water throughout the day so most of my meals are soups and compote. It helps me get my water and increase the amount of vegetables berries and fruits I can eat without over eating.
  • @nishapriya782
I'm from India and follow this all habit without knowing the French culture 😊 each and every words you said in this video I'll doing this exactly same and other said me why you are so thinner than us , today I got my few answer from this video. Thank you 😊 💓
  • Im filipino and much to our dish being veggies fishes and some meat i also use the portion control method the french do , morning afternoon and evening walks with the dogs and every morning veggie/fruit shopping per day when needed since theres an abundance here . Ive lessen snacking only letting some in as a treat nothing to over eat , any leftovers from night before is usually a good breakfast over rice . Theres mistakes at times yet finding a way to get back to healthy weight
  • @ann5765
I agree with eating clean and drinking a lot of smart water ❤
