  • Appreciate you Big Homie!!! Got this old Camry from a friend of mine and been trying to fix it and figure out why the battery keeps draining. Every time I have to jumpstart the car this God forsaken alarm goes off and honks all the way down the damn street! You’re right there’s no legit info on how to pull the fuses to end this online and honestly the diagram inside the fuse box isn’t very accurate (on my car at least) I really appreciate you taking the time to record and post this for the rest of us. Good looking out bro!! ✌🏼
  • After multiple attempts to figure out what the hell was going on with my Camry, I pulled the fuses and had to use jump box, but then car started right up. Idled it for about 30 minutes, then drove it around a bit. Thanks for the tip. Worked like a charm.

  • Just did this for my 1994 4Runner and it worked thank you. I hit a big piece of wood that flew off a trailer on the highway once I stopped I couldn't restart it

I wouldn't remove an ECU fuse. Instead disconnect a connector to the security module which's usually taped upper left corner of brake pedal. That will start the car every time with no more alarm. The only downside of it is, you will not be able to power lock/unlock driver's door due to 12 Volt power going to the driver side door lock/unlock actuator being cut and rerouted via security system module when the system was installed. You can identify the wire and splice it if you want operational door lock/unlock on the driver side.
