    Ultramen are meant to be ambassadors of peace and protectors of life. This includes not only just humans but all lifeforms including kaijus and benevolent aliens. But sadly, to the humans who are always terrorized by the monsters, when they see their hero protecting the very thing that has brought them harm and despair, they immediately turn on the hero.

    as a cinephile, this was genuinely one of the best animated films i've watched ngl. Simple and fun, yet has the depth and nuance that makes a film a FILM.

    You know I read about the you know production of this movie and originally just wasn't supposed to be an ultraman movie It was supposed to be about the director being a parent how do I one point it was supposed to be called made in Japan where was pitch to Sony but rejected it and then Netflix picked it up and after asking permission to use the Ultraman license
