I'm a fashion designer and illustrator who used to teach university fashion classes until my YouTube channel took over my life! I love my YT students! I make videos about design, illustration, color theory, industry real talk and FAQ, fashion business, art supply hauls and reviews and I have all my videos organized by playlists. I believe hard work and dedication are more important than "talent" when it comes to having a successful career.

Feeling "old" or "young" is relative to your own circumstances and the people that surround you every day. Zoe, don't apologize for calling yourself old!! I am currently working with a bunch of 20 year olds and feel the same way you did when teaching full time. Plus, "old" is not a pejorative!! I'm turning 40 this year, I'm old and I'm proud of where I am in life. Old. Old old old. So there. :D

You are a beautiful woman and I enjoy your videos. I am OLD. I like being old. I'm tired of playing goochie goo all day long when I could be obsessing about color theory and quality of line impact. Please don't stop calling yourself old - I find it incredibly annoying and interesting at the same time and I would miss it. You are an old soul which is different. :)

I get your pop culture references and they are hilarious! I think its funny when you say your old. People shouldn't think of it in a derogatory way. If you don't get older you die, that's a sucky alternative!

I've enjoyed the running joke. I'm 67 and never felt as old as other women my age did, and I don't feel old now. Now, I'm retired, am finishing the apparel design learning that I left off from 40+ years ago (I appreciate your videos, so much!). Also fiber arts and leather work. I fully intend to grow younger, which is possible in these new energies.

I have a similar habit from teaching chemistry labs for undergrads as a graduate TA, and this started when I was one of the youngest people in year. I think my students got a kick out of it, especially since sometimes they were my age or older (although I taught in a tiny college town, so actually I was older than the average age)

You are hilarious 🤣😂 I will say this again I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL. I don’t take offense to you saying your old at all I think it’s cute and funny because I say the same about myself. I love it when I talk about my kids and then people ask me how old are they and I say my baby is 21 🤣🤣 the look on their face is priceless 😲. 🤣🤣😂 yes my youngest is 21 and people say I look 29 or 30, thank you....boy how do I wish.

being old or older is not bad though so i don't understand why someone would be offended by that. also, if it is meant that way it's only directed at yourself, and i think everyone says those sort of jokes anyway. i say don't stop, be you! love your videos! (new sub)
