What Nehru build lasts even today but recent fast paced hyped infrastructure cannot even last an year. Time to reflect what is happening: - Are there too much interference by politicians in name of governance? - Is there a erosion in core engineering skills as Civil, with explosion of engg. institutes? - Is there increased corruption and loot, sub-standard material and workmanship? - Are there lack of international exposure and knowledge of using modern equipment for fast pacing projects?

It's a terrible state of affairs. The CAG has been anesthetized. Citizens' watchdog committees are discredited, the Judiciary is swamped with childish disputes. There's a marked deterioration of Discipline and a severe allergy towards seeking expert advice.
