I like how it shows that Mariza doesn't want to be a God, but knows that she doesn't have a choice. While Larus is trying to convince her that being a God is great.

Larus seems to be acting like Mariza's bad influence, telling her all about the wonders of indulging in the luxuries of godhood. He appears to be arrogant, but not in a rude way. It also looks like he sees mortals as beneath him, which feeds into his arrogance. But we also get to see that he feels emotion just like the rest of us, when he seems to be hurt by something Mariza says. That shows us that he might see the people's worship of him as a sort of validation, which may be a hint towards insecurities about who he is, which could then mean his arrogant personality is a front. I love when writers give us these characters that have hidden layers that make them that much more relatable.

It's such a cool look how Larus wings act as a overcoat. It makes wings so less obstructive than how their naturally drawn contracted. And seems actually more natural.

Whoo! I love this so much I love the finale with Mariza still acknowledging her role as the next Sea God. And there's Moon Mom telling her to do her chores lol!

Ah, the siblings. I love their dynamic so much, it's so fun to watch them bounce off of one another. He just yoinks her up. She probably soaks him with waves if he gets close enough and he complains. Always a good time. Love all the little Easter eggs you snuck in here as well ;) Phenomenal work as always man. 10/10

Ik no one is actually gonna see this but I wanna write this anyway, Bloody legendary work, animation felt a bit hard to follow thanks to all the detail but considering how I always watch these multiple times over I don’t mind too much, song also feels like it fits a bit too well and, just, thank you, this story is so brilliantly developed and the time you spend animating clearly doesn’t go to waste

Oh this is SO good! You always impress with your ability to show worldbuilding in these animatics! They’re very inspiring!

The expressions!! First thing I noticed was how generally apprehensive Mariza is about this whole thing, while she tries to put on a confident face (and at times she genuinely might feel more confident) the doubt about the whole thing can't help but creep back in. Larus is trying his best from what I can see, but he's aware that it's not quite working out. And when those two seem to be enjoying themselves the energy is so contagious!! I really enjoy this, and while I can't say I fully understand this, I really like what I do get.
