Elden Ring: 6 INSANE Builds to Beat Promised Consort Radahn!

Published 2024-07-28
Hey all. These are my top 6 fun and strong builds that can help you take down promised consort radahn. I actually found myself enjoying this boss to my surprise after learning some of his moveset. These amazing builds for Elden Ring DLC will help you take down a tough boss while having some fun in the process!

*You don't need the requirements of a seal to use it for buffs. So go weightless if you can. I recommend a light roll for this fight!

*His parry window with his right arm swing is one of the easiest to learn first. Try to parry that and you'll learn the rest as you go. He is incredibly vulnerable to parries.

*I avoided the thorns and broken builds like insane buffing as I feel personally for me it's a little less rewarding (again personal preference). I actually had fun learning to parry and his moveset, for the most part, is fantastic.

Love the blasphemous blade even MORE with this build 🎉🎉

On NG +3 I was trying out different builds on Radahn. I felt the best build was blood fiend's arm with lions claw. It felt like I was bullying Radahn. He died before he could do his meteor strike.

Actually found this video very helpful. Despite beating him a few times I still do struggle and often find myself panic rolling mostly in second phase however now he seems like he’ll be a lot more manageable. Can’t count the amount of times I thought I’d be okay making space to heal for a bit and it ending up terribly.
  • I'm always amazed at how much offensive you can put into your build. On NG8, if I don't have 3000 hp and 66% resists, I get oneshot by pretty much everything in this DLC. =C

I've been trying for days to parry my way through Radahn. Phase 2 was giving me major problems. Appreciate the video!

I KNEW there was going to be some Ice Spear in here! He is SO fun. It is so interesting seeing what works on him and what doesn't. I've had most success using dual God Skin Peelers with Raptors of the Mist to dodge that explosion thing in phase 2. If I use Blasphemous Blade and put Raptors on a dagger in my opposite hand, I can probably get 2 attacks on him at the beginning of stage 2 when he floats up?

I also didn't learned to parry until the draconic tree sentinel in fara mazul, but I very late in the game. It's my first playthrough and never picked up a shield until the sentinel, but I'll try to parry the consort too.

Got to try them parrys well done for learning, bet you felt like a god when he went down, the ice misercorde seems better.
  • @yebster3315
You are able to parry one handed colossal weapon attacks but not if they're 2handed

Beat him yesterday with blasphemous blade, really good weapon to fight him with

I love fighting radahn, he was hard and it felt like fighting medir again, I wish from soft added a boss rematch like sekiro into the game.

I just beat him. I suck. I used Taylew summon and heal from a far. I didn't even carry a weapon in. Lol

Black knight Great shield + Royal Knights cold infused cross-naginata is what I used to bring down the prick at lvl 150. I don’t like this boss, it seems 9/10 people will need to change their entire builds just for one boss. After days of dying I gave into the cheese…
  • Any recommendations for a no scadutree run, I’m getting slapped left and right, right now haha
