He sung at my mom’s funeral, he was amazing! I’m rooting for him all the way👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I turned the TV on tonight and was about to switch it to my Roku but I saw Officer Mayo was from VA and had to watch. I lived in Virginia Beach for decades, graduated school there and met my husband there. My late husband Howard loved AGT and I honestly have avoided watching since he died because it makes me sad when I can't share it with Howard. Tonight I didn't change it, and I am glad. It felt like a message. My husband used to sing this song to me. Ironically I have had problems with my spine, legs and feet for over 20 years. When pain made it hard to get around Howard took care of me. We lost Howard to covid-19 early in the pandemic. I miss him every day. I try not to cry but this performance touched my heart.

he was the police officer at my high school throughout all 4 years. in 2016 during the black history month performances he came on stage singing and surprised everyone, teachers, students and all. He was always a nice guy and always made you laugh if you were. You go Officer Mayo!

The best part about this is that he and his wife both have careers that have them trying to make a difference in their community. I love when people work for the greater good and try to make the world a better place.

What just happened??????? What the.....???? This is hands down the best rendition of TOL. What a voice and what a guy too! If all policemen were like him then I am very very sure our world will be peaceful and full of love. WAY TO GO!!!!!

I was in the audience for his audition, and watching. It back now, this is even better than I remember. I thank him and his wife for the service they do for the community.
