The Metro Station! - Hermitcraft 10 | Ep 15

As a disabled person, I actually kind of like having the elevator be down stairs in this build. It feels very dystopian, like the architects have zero care for its citizens and simply installed this elevator for convenience instead of necessity. The imagery of a down only elevator next to a flight of stairs that go up is very powerful. Bonus points if it's out of order.

It's really funny how your dystopian hellscape of a city still pays more attention to accessibility in the metro than Paris, the litteral capital of France

So the funny thing about the red sand shop: it used to have prices. They were on signs that got removed as part of Grian's HermitPermit Challenge. That's what happens when you cut corners to get out of building the back of your base. lol

I loved the “imployees only” that’s SO GOOD! I’m such a sucker for puns. The station is looking AMAZING impulse!

The most obvious way to Junk up that space at around 15:00 would be kelp blocks somewhere, since they look so much like trash bags

20:15 you put quartz blocks in place of quartz (price difference), actually in 2 places

I think it would be neat to incorporate a "prop hunt/hide and seek" game into the city. With the custom pumpkins, you could have a set number of prop disguises for the other hermits to wear. Use limited durability bows and spectral arrows as ammunition or set up specified a time limit. You could even incorporate hiding spots activated by secret levers or buttons.

Thank goodness you're removing the pressure plates. A group of us have quietly been hoping they'd eventually get the boot. 😂

if cub is making custom fireworks for everyone, and joel is doing his fight club thing. you could totally make an arena with a floor of hoppers that picks up the losers sword, name the swords something specific and do some redstone to automatically fire the winners fireworks in the arena!

Put some paper in the corners of the metro station on the floor in invisible item frames to dirty it up. Also maybe, I don't know if this is allowed, but it might be a cool multiverse thing if allowed: maybe get some Scarland things (balloons, popcorn, sodas, etc) and have Cleo put them in armor stands around the metro but in broken down battered places (like a sad set of balloons just hovering over the floor in a corner (maybe near a trashcan) and popcorn and sodas just tossed on the ground (however Cleo does her magic) and some in invisible item frames. This is such a fun build idea, I love what you are doing! I can't wait to see how you dirty up the place!

Get copies of the posters from the permit office and put them up around town. Outside of the city, the permit office is the most dystopian place on the server

With the Poe Poe starting up you should make your Grass shop a rundown looking shop round the corner from the police station where hermits can go to 'Grass' on other hermits
