Those aren't escape pods, those are suit/armor storage for the pilot and co-pilot. If you look at the text below the beds, you can see that the beds are themselves the escape pods.

Needs a buff. Larger shields, increased speed, bombs drop faster and more together.

Would be awesome if they could switch out the bombs for trooper drop pods ... automated retro thruster landings to insert soldiers (or automated turrets) into a drop zone. Bombs are of limited use, but a high altitude dropship has great potential.

Just signed on my A1 today! Went to Cousin Crow's, and they hooked me up with all grade A military components then flew over to Area 18 to pay a visit to Center Mass and slapped some Badgers and some Panther repeaters. Now I'm ready to head over to MicroTech and have a "warhead on forehead" extravaganza. She handles like a dream too compared to my old Aegis Avenger Titan. The A1 is a gorgeous bird! Crusader Industries just gained a life-long customer.

Nice catch with the fuel port and thx for including the turret I have seen quite a few reviews that ignored that.

if anyone wondering. 2 bombs kills a landed c2. 1 bomb for any single size 3 shield or less, 2 or more size 3's might require another bomb but this is dependant on range. also if u aim ur nose perfectly down from high altitude u can use ur nose to aim the bombs unguided at high altitudes

i just get "target slection failed" when trying to target a ground spot..no circle ever appears

I think those glass containers next to the gun rack are suit lockers, you can see on the floor in front of the two beds the words "escape pod" which suggests you would lie down in the bed and those bunks would shoot out of the ships in a sealed container, a very comfortable way to leave your exploding vessel

the issue of the shield is that it has four faces, similar to size 3 shields of bigger ships. This makes the shield pool hp divided to four.

I stole one yesterday outside the Commons and had a fly about and dropped all the bombs, I was very surprised how nice it flies in atmosphere, especially Microtec very stable! Plenty fast, I like how quick it is to get in and out, I really love it and may get one for my daily driver. Interested to see the luxury version and the cargo version……. The aesthetics of it is the best ship I’ve seen to fly. Tired of staring at the back of my reclaimers Ass.

I've noticed that of yesterday CIG updated the loaner ship list. All Variants of the Spirit will now have access to the A1 as a loaner ship instead of the Cutlass Black - as of 19/10/2023.

It's crusader, the luxury side of combat. The toilets obviously a bidet, so no need to have toilet paper, even for those messy red alert situations
