The scary thing is...he doesn’t even look tired.
-
Everyone: "Do you prefer sprinting or long distance running?" Kipchoge: ".....Yes"
-
2:09 "This humble farmer who used to run 2 miles to school everyday and back. He used to go to the nearest town on his bike to sell milk at the local market. And now through hard work and discipline.. He is pointing, come on he says" this always gives me goosebumps and tears of massive respect and inspiration. What a legend Eliud really is!
-
That pace is legit insane you can't think how hard it is untill you run.
-
I was questioning why he wasn’t sprinting at the end then I realised mans was basically sprinting the whole time
-
My man looks like he about to run another marathon right after that. Unbelievable. Congratulations
-
He's not even tired!
-
I get goosebumps and tear a bit every time I watch this. Eliud's humility and hard work amazes me. Hats off my countryman.
-
“Only the disciplined ones are free in life. If you are undisciplined, you are a slave to your moods” -Kipchoge
-
You don’t realize how fast this is until you actually try to run at that pace
-
I love the guys behind him celebrating and cheering him on before and after the finish line! True sportsmanship right there.
-
I don't think there's any other athlete who'll inspire 'non-athletes' like Eliud did . I've never been so proud and inspired.
-
"Sprinting into the history books". I like that.
-
This guys is basically the marathon version of Usain Bolt.
-
His humbleness has earned him a gold on Toyko 2020.. am happy and proud to be Kenyan .. we love you Kipchoge🔥🔥💗💗🥺🥺
-
He sprinted from start to finish 😯! Absolutely insane
-
Seeing him accelerate for the final kilometre after 2 hours of running, took my breath away!
-
This was such a giant leap in athletics ! Smashed the “impossible barrier”!
-
R.I.P to Kelvin Kiptum You will be missed, and so young too :( Godspeed on your next marathon in the world beyond ✊🏃

I watched this several months ago before I started running. As a runner now, a whole new level of respect.
