I don’t even play star citizen, but I always watch these videos lol
-
9:20 The controls on the door panel include a button to raise and lower the cargo lift, without the user needing to engage with the button on the elevator beam or go to the cockpit.
-
I like to think that the designers of these ships crowd around a screen to watch the “report card” on their latest design. I really feel the 400i is proof that they watch and listen to this series.
-
The “nostrils” are meant to mimic anchor portholes on older sea vessels. Large ships like the Titanic and Queen Mary used them as a distinctive design point.
-
Two things you missed: - There is a button to raise and lower the cargoelevator on the panel right next to the door to the cargoroom, its the lower of the two buttons. - You can actually open the mirror in the Bathroom, it has a small shelf behind it. The button is on the lower right of the mirror.
-
"You've probably never heard of a grand elevator before, because it doesn't exist" Willy Wonka: "Am I a joke to you?"
-
Yes! Practical with no wasted space yet elegantly presented, this is an exploration vessel that definitely puts the exploration over the luxury. If the 600i exploration version was revamped using this design mindset then oh man it would be fabulous!
-
I feel it is missing a "top window" for the crew and the captain. For an exploration ship, the view seems to be somewhat narrow.
-
As a second year architect student I look forward to every episode of this series ❤️

CIG: we make high quality, beautiful ships with extreme detail, the best space ships in the market Fans: haha penguin
-
@Morphologis Regarding the cargo lift, the button to bring the lift back up is on the wall next to the door, its the bottom button that says "Open/Close". Not joking, I have a 400i and it manipulates the cargo lift.
-
Can't wait till cig goes and revisits the older ships with the designs they learned
-
The 400i is a true instant classic in my books. CIG will only improve in their craft but I think the work they've done on this one is truly timeless and won't soon be overshadowed by the new and up-and-coming. Because truly good designs are eternal. Origin has really reached a high point with this one.
-
Lining the series of Origin ships in a row like that was beautiful.
-
Wow - that Origin line up of ships at the end was breathtaking! Excellent job, once again, Morphologis!
-
the longer i have this ship the more i love it.
-
As an engineer, this is one of the only ships i entered and didn't feel massive wastes of space. Only origin ship i care about, i bought it instantly for the interior design and the nubian feels
-
Two things are guaranteed with a Morphologist video: 1. A treat for your ears and your eyes 2. A longing to jump in the verse despite the bugs (piloting a 400i is horrible right now compared to a Connie)
-
I cannot get past of how stunning you have made this ship look. I have already watched this episode many times and have made me appreciate the design of this ship even more. I want to crawl all over this ship and see ever tiny detail they have added on this ship and what makes it so much more than other ships. This ship has me really excited to see what other ships they will come out with. Love this ship a lot personally and it will be my daily driver as I explore what the verse has to offer.
-
Once again, absolutely brilliant work. That shot towards the end of all the Origin ships was incredible - really gives a sense of scope as well as the accumulating history of Star Citizen and the ship manufacturers.
