Stephen A just exposed Team USA for Snubbing Caitlin Clark in the Olympics!

Stephen A. Smith revealed an embarrassing fact about Team USA, which could have been avoided by not excluding Caitlin Clark. Since the roster announcement, there has been uproar over the omission of Caitlin, a game changer on and off the court. Caitlin's impact on TV ratings was recognized by The Wall Street Journal, and her selection as the No. 1 overall pick set WNBA Draft TV rating records. Despite her record-breaking performance and endorsements, Team USA's decision was based on experience and standard procedure, which backfired with the team's Olympic losses. Caitlin's absence deprived the team of her skills, popularity, and marketing value, a mistake the committee won't repeat.

So silly to leave Caitlin off team USA. At least Dawn acknowledged she should be there
  • I'm tired of them saying she struggled in the beginning of the season! Then why did she get rotm?

Before Caitlin Clark the only WNBA player I could name was Britney Griner... and it had nothing to do with basketball.

I never cared or watched women basketball untill CC came into being. I love watching her she is pure talent. I hope the best in life for her.
  • Team USA should be raising hell over their Coach causing no one to watch their games. We watch winners, and without Americas top female player being chosen, many will not watch.

Forget watching CC play in the Olympics. What I am really excited about is watching Taurasi get her 6th medal= must watch Tv. Lol.
  • @danross-cv5ju
If I’m not mistaken, the starting guards (Gray and Taurasi) have yet to score a point in Olympic play.
  • Leaving Caitlin Clark off the Olympic Team was a missed historical opportunity that will never happen again. Just think of all the little kids chucking up logo threes on playgrounds all over the world, who are disappointed. No wonder the WNBA has been in the dumps so long. But Clark will likely be around a long time so maybe they will get out of it.

The W(WE)NBA needs a new Commissioner! Someone who will take charge of the league. A true Commissioner would know that having Caitlin on the team would be in the best interest of the W(WE)NBA and would’ve gotten her on the Olympic team somehow. Putting Caitlin on Team USA was not about her play. The women's Olympic basketball team has won 7 gold medals in a row and I could "give 2 shits" about that. How about 1 shit? Nope, not even 1 shit about the 7 straight gold medals. I've watched women's soccer in the Olympics and nothing else on the women's side in the past. I would've been glued to the TV and also taped the games if Caitlin was on the Olympic team. I am NOT watching the women’s Olympic basketball team. I hope the women’s Olympic team loses.
