Thank you for providing the information and the video on Mars exploration. I appreciate the opportunity to learn more about this fascinating subject. Your resources will be invaluable in deepening my understanding of the ongoing efforts and discoveries related to Mars.

We want to discover all things. It’s fun.

Cause we just can’t let go of

0:08 In my lifetime (52-years-old back in March) no serious astronomer, astrophysicist, or astrobiologist thought there were canals or cities or any other engineered structure designed and built by an intelligent species living on Mars. Hell, by the 50s, astronomers studying the planet with telescopes had a pretty good idea there was certainly no technological civilization on Mars. Now, as to the possibility of some kind of simple life on Mars, that was a different story. Until the Viking missions in the mid-70s, they felt like there was certainly more than a non-zero chance of some simple forms of life being present, possibly subsurface, which could be detected with the instruments on the lander.

Funny these same people say Bacteria is life on Mars, but a heartbeat isn't life on Earth? Weird

I'd rather give money to NASA than to Israel

Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids...

Great video ! But honestly, there isn’t much there and almost impossible for humans to live sustainably in the barren planet. If we could live on Mars, we should first try to emulate that is the Sahara and Siberia etc. At this point it is just a colossal waste of taxpayers money !
-
There’s nothing there, it’s a dried up rock, yet we humans waste billions upon billions of dollars on Mars. Why not invest that kind of money on this planet, our home Earth instead of destroying it and dumping our garbage on other worlds?
-
Why? To keep those budget $ flowing to NASA that's why.
-
Humans will inhabit Mars one day. I know we will find a way
-
NASA hasn’t actually tried to find life on Mars. They probably would have found life by now if they wanted to.
