After nine years of filming departures aboard the Washington State Ferries, I can now say that I have my first departure that was filmed during snowfall. Thankfully there was just enough snow for the pickle forks to still be open. I was also grateful to ride the Kitsap in the San Juan Islands while I still could. The Yakima returned to service two days later.

    Crazy Cathlamet here is a story about me and the MV Kitsap, In 2004 2005 i was homeless and stayed at a nightwatch shelter they let out about 4:45am id go to colman dock ferry terminal ask to use the restroom then come the side they didnt see and i would get a free ride on the kitsap just to get extra sleep on the Bremerton route plus i love riding ferries but then they put the turn styles in before i was trying teach them a flaw
