The full interview with Reed is over 2 hours long → spoti.fi/3T2j4NY It's really good for creators looking to build their businesses
  • @YikesMC
I love how instead of creators learning how to be business people, he's a business person learning the life of a creator
  • Being Jimmy's manager is basically giving a child $100 and get them to only spend $50, but he somehow spends $250
  • @KingBudds
Beast is crazy smart. His videos are so insane but he manages to edit them in such a good way that there's hook after hook and entertainment the whole way through. Ppls attention span is so short these days that he kills it with keeping ppl tuned into his videos. Jimmy is absolutely amazing at what he does. Respect.
  • @JoojNatuENG
That's one of the top 3 videos you've done till now. I've learned so much in these 50 minutes, and I appreciate the gold content, Colin and Samir!
  • @nrog1022
This is the most interesting interview they’ve done so far. This guy is a real business person stepping into the life of the biggest creator on YouTube.
  • @FliteTest
Super informative! Loved the dialogue lads! Keep on helping and inspire creators growth and their identities! 🤟
  • @NatashaFresh
Thank you for this interview! I appreciate how much work creators do, and yeah, this is a huge team behind a youtuber. That’s really important to understand that.
  • @loumulet
Jimmy: "Do we have $900k for a video?" Reed: "For what?" Jimmy: "Island... that we're gonna give away at the end of the video." deep deep silence
  • I could listen to Reed talk all day. Cool calm and collective!
  • @Jonesy3461
19:30 "If you're going to start multiple business units, you have to have people responsible for each one."  Love this quote. This is the key to MrBeast's huge success - Jimmy Donaldson and Reed aren't perfect creators or businesspeople, they both just know when to delegate a normally difficult/tedious process to someone more skilled for the job.
  • @TimTom
34:53 - One small correction: Fred was the first channel to reach 1 million subscribers, in April 2009.
  • As a creator with over a million subs on YouTube mostly from shorts, I can confirm there is absolutely a huge lack of brand loyalty there. Don’t get me wrong, I love my subscribers, but there are only a few thousand that consistently come back and watch my content. Long form community growth trumps short form by 100x easy.
  • @squidcatbass
That was an amazing insight into Reed's life. I love how he described the business as being in the 1st inning. So much thought goes into every decision.
  • @nebreztnem
Love the whiteboard behind Reed. "We need words to fill this part of the board because when we film interviews it looks too empty and we don't want our subscribers to think that we don't have important things to say that would fill a board."
