What they need to add is some sort of fan that blows in relation to the speed the car is moving. Even if you end up putting a helmet on, you'd still feel it and it would help with the sensation I think. Shouldn't even cost that much to add.

Only takes 2 seconds to see that this has failed on possibly the most important thing in a sim. Field of view
  • @fastmclaren71
A VR head set with this, would be more immersive than 3 screens.
  • @DropDMurphy
This would really make Dave n Busters some serious money... I would love to see a chain of racing SIM places to go that had setups like this. Kinda like SIM golf..
  • @GroovedSlick
I think just one of those tires costs more than my entire set up 😂 Awesome stuff

I'd get the same effect parking my fiesta behind a triple screen and getting my missus to rock it about a bit.

A few years ago I had the chance to sit in the training Sim from the f1 honda. I don't watch formula, but experience was incredible.

The whole system needs to be on a moving platform that tilts 45° in all directions to simulate the braking, acceleration and side loads on the driver. That combined with a weighted helmet, would give an awesomely realistic sim experience!
  • @dodoz44
Would be awesome if it had some system to turn the front wheels when you're turning the wheel too. That little extra bit of extra immersion. Maybe make them turn a little too, just so they're not stationary when at speed.

just ordered 6 of these so I can play with some friends thank you
  • @phansam9833
That is called Passion. I would do the same if I had the money.

As an idea to go one step forward: you can build a helmet and a seat with a belt sistem (for the body better something like a blanket around you from the waist to the lower chest than a belt) that pulls you towards the F1 headrest and seat according to acceleration to create a luck of simulation of the Gforces in your body.
  • The thing with these motion rigs is that it seems as though it might be weird that the car is rolling left when the car turns right, like it has bad suspension. Makes sense for a bike sim though but developers don't understand, or it's impossible to implement counter steering. 🤷‍♂

Just sort of stumbled upon this video. Very nice and well put together. Subscribed. :)

If he found a a way to put monitors on the cockpit that would like mold to the cockpit so you couldn’t see the outside world yet you can still see the inside of the car and some fans so it feels a little bit windy depending on speed feel like it would be a hard task but worth the fun
  • @INS_TacoBro
this setup would be the best if it had a vr. if it had a vr you could wear it while driving so you feel like you really are in a f1 and the games you can look around.
  • Besides a fan right in front of you, they should've also added another moving plane underneath the car. Its DOF is only limited to simulate the incline and angle of the plane the car is on. If we're spending that much on a sim just for immersion, i don't see why i wouldn't want to be adding something like that.
