Liberty City was the first city in 2d 3d and Hd universe.

It's just insane how the start of both the 3D and HD eras are only seperated by just 7 years.

GTA 3 = First 3D game Made by Rockstar (2001) GTA 4 = First HD Era with Immersive Physics game made by Rockstar (2008)

I really liked that in gta 4 they took into consideration that guns are illegal in NYC so you have to buy from a nice man who holds onto to his 2a rights.

GTA 4 doesn't have Ammunation, it's "black market" or something, it's an underground store because Liberty City had some kind of gun control.

Fun fact: The Liberty City of GTA IV is the one Rockstar intended for GTA III, but they couldn’t do it due to hardware limitations.

God Liberty city in GTA 4 is always a breathtaking experience. So cozy yet filled with detail and life. Especially as a New Yorker it’s amazing to see.
