Massive Pattern Haul Part 2 (New Look) Hobby Lobby

Girl! You were so excited on the first video that I ran (18 miles away!) and loaded up myself! And I see that same excitement during this video. I stayed away from the smaller sizes and actually found enough in the larger sizes. Great haul and you’d better plan on short sleeps to do all the sewing you were talking about😅! Enjoy your videos.

A slip skirt cut on the bias will be beautiful. The only trouble would be laying out the front and back angles. Both can't be in the same direction from the waist to the hem.

I am so glad you do tests too. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve ruined my nice fabric because I didn’t test the pattern. The measurements on the pattern envelope and tissue aren’t always accurate. Thank you for reminding us! Look forward to see how #6660 (pants) turn out for you. I have that one as well and the zipper application looks a little challenging. I haven’t found a “sew with me” construction video of the pant, especially the zipper application, so I look forward to your review. Love your channel!

Wow! What a fabulous haul! You are way more ambitious than I, but we got several of the same patterns. I’ve already started sewing a knit dress. Never having sewn with New Look patterns, I chose size based on measurements and find that it runs about one size too large. Now I know going forward. Exciting and busy summer.

My first run to HL, I picked up 22 patterns. Realized I was playing it too safe, got 12 more the next day! 😅😆 Seeing what else you picked up, I now see potential for, I'm in trouble! 💗

I picked up the same pattern for the obi belt too! I thought it would look cool in suede or leather.

I got that pattern with the belt for the same exact reason
