On May 7, 1915 at 2:10 in the afternoon a torpedo fired by the German submarine U 20 slammed into the side of the liner Lusitania. A mysterious second explosion ripped the liner apart. Within 18 minutes the giant ship slipped beneath the sea. One thousand one hundred nineteen of the 1,924 aboard died. The dead included 114 Americans.

    Not the most amazing recreation of a sinking ship I've ever seen. But it's certainly the best Lusitania sinking animation out. Good job, you did her proud.

  • Thanks for not having her stand upright. Some people are saying “ OH IT COULD BECAUS THE BOW HAS A BEND. “ THE SHIP WAS 787 ft LONG AND THE WATER WAS 300 ft deep. A bend in the bow wouldn’t do anything. It would still be about 600 ft in 300 ft of water.

    Very good video,I liked it,I love the older ships like this, especially the Titanic and her sisters,the part that freaks me out tho is when the ship sinks and u can see it under the water going down,very cool thanks for sharing

    I think when the ship reached a high angle, it touched the sea floor and the stern came back down.
  • Sailing in the ocean while sinking.if you hit something like iceberg or torpedo it will stop in a second or minute because the engine room is flooded of the water but that's a nice video :)
