Robby Layton - "Now we're going to blow tack and static, let that flash off and apply another 14 coats and hand sand between each one." Paul - "It's a rock crawler. We're going to dent it anyway. That's close enough."
-
Its a rare Sunday when Fab rats is the first to upload. PS my dad would have used both of our heads to knock out the rest of the broken window. You're a great father for editing that part out🤣
-
I always taught my kids...you break it, you fix it...you pay for it. It teaches them responsibility, accountability, consequences, knowledge and respect for property. They learnt real quick 😐 Well done Paul 👍
-
"Teenage boys, you should get yourself some." LOL!!!! "I've watched a lot of Breaking Bad." Great quotes! I love your relationship with your family, especially your boys, and I appreciate how you handled the broken window(s). Making him pay for it was seriously the right thing to do. I'm surprised that you didn't make him help with clean up, but maybe not having him there was your way of dealing with it? LOL Man, you got a lot done in 4 days, but I noticed your projects go the same way as mine. One thing leads to another.

it's been awhile since I've been a teenager but I can imagine Landon and the boys just standing there looking at the broken glass and suddenly time stops, the fighting is over....And then suddenly you realize "oh we're all in trouble".... Plus we got a cool FJ video out of it so good day all around. Lessons were learned and work was done.
-
Super proud of him for owning his mistake and paying up!
-
to have Paul, Ben and Merlin under one garage would be amazing to see! I could only imagine the projects they would build!
-
Super light tint on all the glass in a trail rig...when it breaks it shatters but stays in place, easy cleanup and no trail mess. Clear packing tape applied before breakage works in a pinch for rear/side windows too!

Paul, gonna say this once, 20 years ago I watched my wife lose her eyesight from a degenerative eye disease, I can't tell you in words the amount of pain and suffering one endures from losing vision. I can tell you, if you have a choice to see tomorrow after you grind a weld or not, choose to see, Paul if you read this and decide to wear glasses like it is your religion, it will have made my wife's experience just a little less painful. Trust me losing your sight is a cliff you fall from not a slope you slide down. I turned wrenches for a living and before I was educated about eye loss suffering, I was just like you, but no more, I have safety glasses EVERYWHERE!!! I still weld, grind, and drill all the time, but I take the walk to get the specs. ps LOVE your channel! You guys Rock!

Landon pays the bill… and a boy moves closer to becoming a responsible man. Well done Paul and Michelle.
-
I can understand why the boys weren't part of the repair video. I would not have wanted to be a party to that when Dad got home. On another note: Huge kudos to Michelle for her excellent video editing work. Top shelf!
-
And the shot at the end - the transfer of the cash - excellent. Great video, all around, this week (as usual). Thanks all

You’re one hell of a guy and a good dad I love the part where you made him be responsible and pay you back for the windshield in the back window that was priceless. I’m thinking he learned his lesson…
-
Good lesson right before hunting season: always look down range past your target 🎯
-
A great lesson of responsibility for your son, the fact that he had to pay for it is something he will not forget. I did something similar with my grandson when he wrecked my 4 wheeler because he was mad at a girl and was driving too fast. It good to see you teaching responsibility
-
this video was fantabulous. reminds me of my childhood and having to learn the hard way breaking my dad's tools(and some of his belongings). Fab Rats and family are the best. Paul and Ben working together in an awesome way and gettin it done.
-
It's a good thing they have a dad like you. If I'd done that when I was a kid I wouldn't have been able to seat for a month.
-
I gotta say, that was an expensive lesson, but the boy has one hell of a throwing arm. I hope he's pitching! 😄
-
I was at the Great Smokey Mountain Jeep invasion this weekend buying some yellow rope and beer and I swear there was a pitcher of Ben on my beer can. Thank you for your time.

Great Dad, teaching your children their responsibilities, accepting his wrong doing builds character. Great team work with your brother. I enjoyed it.
