    1. Don't think money is important. 2. School never teaches about money and wealth. 3. Your parents never taught you about money and wealth. 4. You were never taught how to make money without having a job. 5. The mainstream media and advertisers want you to be consumers. 6. You have a negative association with rich people. 7. To get rich, you need to think like the 1%. If you are constantly around the other 99% that isn't rich and have their mindset, you might only go as far as they go.

  • I'm reading your book It changes my vision of money As you said "money are freedom"
  • @ArturoCabello
Instead of looking at money as evil, you must see money itself as a tool and like any tool it must be learned to be used! Money like any other tool can be used for great things if you use it properly!

"Every time they point a finger at someone else, there are three other fingers pointing at themselves" It is the best quote I've ever heard from Dan Lok

I send your videos to my children to watch. Thank you for being so blunt.

Dan, I think the biggest problem in my life has to be social skills. I wasn't heavily bullied but everyone else seems to have a smooth social growth (making friends, initiating conversations, being "cool") growing up and they never seem to have any problems interacting with others. My childhood was a mess of isolation and anxiety which pushed further and further away from ever socializing. I have dreams of my own to make this world a better place but in the nosedive to success, I have to be good at networking - at talking to people. This is such a big roadblock for me right now because on one end I want to show myself what I'm capable of but I can't help but teeter towards hating myself, that I am the same loser I was in school with nothing to show. It hurts when I know I could've been so much more if only I had a healthier childhood but I already know I shouldn't point fingers; I am in control of my own life now. Still, when my parents compare me to my cousins with their instagram full of group photos with their university friends, smiling, laughing, hanging out, with a grad ceremony picture to fit the rote progression of an average, successful life it really hurts. They had social skills and a good environment; they never struggled as I do. pls dont laugh at this because it's a serious problem i'm dealing with.
