Bryson DeChambeau Press Conference | 2024 PGA Championship Round 4

I realize that I might be the minority...but I think Bryson is a good guy. He seems genuine and kind.

I was never a fan of Bryson until I started watching his yt channel and he seems like a great guy. One of my favorite golfers now, I was really rooting for him today

I think he's made a lot of fans this tournament.

If you shoot -20 in a major and lose you just gotta tip your cap. Bryson was electric today!

Leaving the PGA tour and taking control of his own likeness and image and making his own videos is probably the best thing that could’ve happened for him.. One of the best personalities and talents in golf right now in my opinion, and the tour would’ve never let him loose the way LIV has.

The fact that he shook Xander’s hand and congratulated him after Xander won speaks volumes about his class and sportsmanship.

That 8-iron from 221 was the nastiest shot I’ve ever seen in my life.

Dude shot -7 in a final round with no bogeys and finished the last hole with a birdie. Dude is an absolute beast and seems like a great dude.

Bryson was the 2nd BEST player in the PGA Championship for the 4 days. That was pretty dam good. Millions of golfers would love to play on that level. You were terrific today.

This man played well enough to win. 64 on Sunday is incredibly impressive

He is the only guy I wish he was playing on PGA Tour. Do you know he was hitting a driver at the range till 10pm on Friday? He is a hard worker.

Bryson came out on tour young and brash, and rubbed a few folks the wrong way. He was labeled as cocky and arrogant, and then had the run-in with Koepka, which didn't help. But, he's grown up quite a bit, and is really a good guy that respects the game. If you watch his YouTube channel, he's actually very humble and self-depreciating of himself, and he interacts well with his guests. Sometimes you just need to be put in your place to realize that you're not bigger than the game. And he and Brooks made up of course, so that's telling in itself.

I’ve been a Bryson fan for years and he renewed my love of golf, because I’m an engineer and absolutely relate to his scientific approach to the game. I think for the longest time he was misunderstood, but now everyone else is starting to see that he’s really just a very honest hard working guy that tries to leave no stone unturned in his approach to golf. Golf is such a personal game, your swing, your equipment, your ball choice, your physical advantages/disadvantages, your decisions on the course, all combine to produce an end result.

YouTube, which he doesn’t need to do, has been a brilliant insight into Bryson. He is obsessed with golf, he loves sharing his insights, and while he isn’t naturally comfortable in the limelight, he comes across as a deep thinking and well intentioned person who clearly has been brought up well.

Bryson is way under rated and disrespected! I think the man is one of the great ball strikers alive.

Amazing performance from Bryson to chase down Xander up to the very last putt, great effort from Hovland as well. Xander finally managed to close the show just 1 week after getting destroyed by Rory at QH on Sunday, what a difference a week makes.

What a guy! He is for the people, just showing who he really is and even giving his fans insight on his YouTube channel, when in reality he has enough dough that he doesn’t have to do it. He has become my favorite golfer over the last two years for being such a genuine person, salute to you from a fellow Texan!

Nobody is harder on Bryson than Bryson is on himself.
