He's moving really well for a 90 year old. God bless him

Kudos to the grocery store for giving the man a job as well.

Exactly, it is a shame that the US doesn’t take care of the elderly at that point in their lives. 😢
  • What an amazing woman. Thank you for caring about that senior gentleman enough to make a big difference in his life. Your community is wonderful to lend a helping hand so generously! I am moved to tears! ❤

I was bawling my eyes out this morning, listening to the story. Thank you for your service to our country.

She's not only physically beautiful but with a ❤ to match. Beautiful gesture in helping. Learn from her other MSM outlets.
  • From myself whose family has served in different wars, I, salute him and his family. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. For this lady, blessings to you and your family too.
  • How said that he had to wait until the age of 90 for someone to help him. Imagine the tens of thousands of people who have probably seen him working going into the store and they did nothing. That's what's wrong with the word. 1 compassionate person out of tens of thousands if not even more. Thank you to the lady for being that 1 person. You are what makes life beautiful.

This hits home. I'm retired AF as well and sad he has to be in the heat at that age and wasn't able to enjoy Memorial Day as a veteran.

When ya wake up and you just don't feel like you can face the day, think of this gentleman, what an absolute inspiration! I feel blessed to have watched this story today, carpe diem!!
  • I hope he takes a vacation sometime soon. He's more than earned it!

This lady has earned a gold star from the man upstairs. He is preparing a special home for her. And the man upstairs is blessing this gentleman daily. I’m 73 but feel like 90 cause of a stroke. This gentleman could run rings around me. As one veteran to another God bless you sir.

Beautiful story!! A veteran that only gets that much social security…how sad for our country. Even sadder that no one in the store gave him a better job.

$1.100 a month for a veteran is a slap in the face. So insulting for our veteran who set an ultimate decision to protect and serve our nation.
  • A shame that we send money over seas and on irresponsibly people in this country! This man helped people thru wars and sacrifices! We need to do better by our elders! What a great story!

He got that right. This is a very high class lady and there are very few left in this country.
  • You’re both hero’s. And all that donated. ✌️💜🇺🇸
