Fearless Raccoons Roaming San Francisco's Golden Gate Park

Normally, raccoons are nocturnal, skittish and shy animals. But not the ones we spotted in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, and animal control officials say people have only themselves to blame. Kiet Do reports. (9/23/20)

    Humans are the only ones that need to be in rehab and of course those who need it the most would never go.

    This is literally right outside my house. I haven’t been able to go back because one touched my toddler and it terrifies me, they follow you for 10-15 minutes

    Too many people are feeding them. Someone gets rabies and it’s not going to be cute anymore

    In a environment away from people they would fend for themselves and become wild again. Relocate them. Do not euthanize them.

    There’s one of the creepiest things you can hear at four in the morning is two raccoons way high up in an old maple and an old cherry tree huge trees fighting. It’s pretty creepy. Another creepy sound a different sound is the barred owl. If you can find it on YouTube There’s a couple vids that really show the sounds. It’s not pretty.
