Can't believe I missed this video, very useful tutorial considering my knife came with a rod of it. Also, I have a video idea if you haven't done it already, a tutorial on making a pot hanger or some sort of cooking device for a campifire would be great!

This is not flint. This is a man made composite, ferrocerium. Flint is a volcanic type rock, that shaves a chunk of metal off the striker which chemically reacts with oxygen and heats up, the spark, yes a similar process as the ferro rod but so different. Please do some research.
